Building on her PhD dissertation, Maja Sonne Damkjær presented findings on mediatization of parenthood at the "Modern Family Life" event at Dokk1. The event was hosted by Aarhus University's Center for Collaborative Health and included other prominent speakers such as Councilman Bünyamin Simsek from  Aarhus municipality and professor Carsten Obel from Aarhus University. Maja argued that 'new media' have changed the ways first-time parents seek and share information and raised questions about 'sharenting' (sharing-parenting) and privacy.
