CENSUS welcomes our new PhD fellow Astrid Meyer
Astrid Meyer joins the LIVSTEGN project as of January 1st 2021.
The Centre is delighted to welcome Astrid Meyer, our new PhD fellow, who recently joined us on the LIVSTEGN project. Astrid comes to us with an MSc in Global Health from the University of Copenhagen. Here she wrote her thesis about using a smartphone-based self-monitoring technology as part of psychiatric treatment. Having an undergraduate degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh, Astrid is particularly interested in using field-based methods to explore how surveillance technologies can be used to support dementia care work in ethical ways.
Welcome Astrid!
